Officer, Content Marketing
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the travel and tourism market, as well as its traditional and digital media landscape;
  • Facilitation of weekly tactical promotion initiatives;
  • Development of social and website content in English and Chinese
  • Proofreading of English and Chinese content;
  • Coordination with outstation teams for translations;
  • Management/liaison with appointed agencies;
  • Marketing communication management through traditional media, out-of-home and digital mediums;
  • Briefing and negotiation of Social media campaigns;
  • Coordination with publishers to develop interesting, dynamic in-flight magazine content;
  • Marketing campaign/promotion tracking and tabulation;
  • Assist in developing new revenue sources and create maximum targeted brand exposure through participation in trade shows, corporate events, exhibits, sponsorships and other promotional activities;
  • Prepare and distribute communications of product updates, promotional campaigns, and customer communications;
  • Oversee and manage website, social and third party content – all whilst ensuring consistency with current brand tone and manner;
  • Ensure the company remains at the forefront of developments in content marketing;
  • Support ad-hoc duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Degree holder in Marketing, English or related majors;
  • Firm understanding of marketing, social media and/or related disciplines;
  • Knowledge of the Hong Kong Market including consumer psychographics, nuances and trends;
  • Proficient understanding of all social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and Wechat;
  • Understanding of excellent traditional media practices, out-of-home placements and promotional activities;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese language is a plus.
