Global Corporate Account Manager
Location: Hong Kong 

Reports to: Global Corporate Sales Manager

Source, negotiate and manage a portfolio of client centric global and regional corporate agreements. This role requires a high frequency of travel.                                                                            

Key responsibilities and tasks
  • Source, prioritise, negotiate, lead and manage of a portfolio of global agreements to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Design and execute a strategic plan that represents the direction of growth for each account within your portfolio
  • Liaise on a regular basis with point of sales (PoS) to negotiate pricing, drive strategy, be accountable for the performance and incorporate feedback in order to proactively capture revenue opportunities
  • Actively drive MICE revenue targets through corporate companies
  • Actively drive ancillary sales through global corporate accounts
  • Proactively initiate sales improvement actions across the network
  • Drive adoption for all data tools, continuously improving efficiency of the corporate sales process and ensuring all sales activities are tracked using the corporate sales force automation tools.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with Global and Regional Travel Managers for each account as well as top performing PoS contacts
  • Regularly meet with Global and Regional TMC Account Managers in order to maximise revenue and support opportunities
  • Ensure reporting, measurement dashboards and scorecards are in place, distributed both internally and externally for each account/ portfolio
  • Attend industry events, prepare and present sales presentations
  • Undertake analysis and reporting of global travel patterns in to order to prepare scorecards and plan strategic direction for each account
  • Share corporate sales best practices at a PoS level
  • Understand and adapt sales proposition based on online tool capabilities used by client
  • Present and share innovative solutions that will further Cathay Pacific as the carrier of choice for the future
Qualifications / Experience
  • Minimum 4-8 years' work experience with at least 3 years’ experience in global account management within Sales
  • University degree holder
  • Airline or TMC Experience is a must
  • Strong strategic capabilities. Understand strategic sales and is able to maximize revenue opportunities 
  • High level of commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles
  • Excellent negotiation skills: an ability to balance commercial requirements with client centricity
  • Results driven
  • Able to influence and manage fluent relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Strong communication, leadership and EQ skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Prism, MIDT, eSmash and Sales Force preferred
  • Understanding of the APAC airline market is an advantage
