Representative, Mainland Representative Office
  • Station in the Authority's Mainland Representative Office in Guangzhou to assist Chief Representative in the day-to-day management of the Representative Office
  • Maintain the smooth operation of the Authority's Mainland Representative Office, including but not limited to local personnel management, bank account & ledger keeping, and submission of quarterly tax return and annual audit to local authorities
  • Build stronger rapport with municipal and provincial governments in China and Civil Aviation Administration of China, especially the Central South Regional Administration
  • Collect and maintain databases on aviation-related regulations and policies in China, analyze current trends & future development, and share with management for the formulation of necessary strategies
  • Explore and develop relationships with trade partners in Guangzhou, such as Ctrip, NetEase, WeChat, HKTDC Office, for collection of first-hand political & economic information and identification of business opportunities and potential suppliers in China
  • Plan and organize visits for management, including but not limited to local authorities and industry partners in the Greater Bay Area and beyond
  • Identify marketing opportunities and execute promotion campaigns targeting travelers in the Greater Bay Area, such as consumer events, fairs and exhibitions
  • Bachelor degree holder in business administration, marketing, aviation, public policy, public relations and other related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in airport, airline or government organization with proven track records in network building and relationship management with the mainland government bodies and enterprises. Strong collaboration and network with the travel trade and aviation industry partners with working experience in China is an advantage
  • In-depth understanding of mainland business and government culture
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to think broadly and take a long-term perspective to achieve common goals
  • Strong commercial awareness and capable of applying systematical analysis and  judgement
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
